Navy to Launch ₹80,000-Crore Warship Project
Project 18A is a vital move for the modernisation of the Indian Navy with the construction of advanced stealth guided-missile destroyers with 75 per cent indigenous participation. This project, worth about ₹80,000 crore, will improve maritime security, ensure protection of trade routes and provide deterrence to India in the Indo-Pacific region.
